Eligibility

Children ages 36 months - Kindergarten who: - Are eligible for Early Learning Scholarships or Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) - Have health insurance and had a recent well-child exam within the year - Has therapeutic needs - Live in Frogtown or Eastside (Rondo neighborhood) of Saint Paul

Description

Partners with parents, caregivers, teachers, and therapists to develop an individualized plan to build cognitive, developmental, and social-emotional skills needed to be Kindergarten ready. Services include: - Addressing and filling gaps in development through literacy, language, mathematical and scientific thinking, social studies, arts, active play, and building strong relationships with peers - Bi-weekly meetings onsite for mental health, speech, and occupational therapy paired with a trauma-informed classroom, children learn valuable coping skills, and self-regulation techniques to help them be successful in and out of school - Classroom learning five days a week in structured environment - Family support through home visits where parents and caregivers are connected to community resources and can benefit from parent enrichment activities
