Fees

Food, shelter, education, clothing allowance, medical care and stipend paid to all participants in the program. Child care provided on-site.

  • Basic education service (GED, reading and math and GED testing), online high school diploma program, and English Language Learner (ELL)- Career counseling including career success standards, career exploration and vocational assessment- Driver's education classes- Non-residential programs includes benefits plus counseling, monthly bus pass, assistance in obtaining daycare, etc.- On-site medical services- Placement services available for one year after completion of Job Corps program- Residential living center (socialization, recreation, dorm, counseling and social skills training)- Training in painting and wallpapering, building maintenance, finance and business, medical office support, culinary arts, health occupations and transportation industry clerks; advanced career training at AVTI. Training through classroom instruction, apprenticeships, internships and and on-the-job training.- Work Experience Program: Living skills instruction, job placement assistance and job search techniques such as resume preparation assistance and job interview training
