- Historic Chippewa City: 10 am - 4 pm Tuesday - Friday 1 pm - 5 pm Weekends and Holidays Memorial Day Weekend - Labor Day Weekend 10 am - 4 pm Tuesday - Friday By appointment Saturday and Sunday September after Labor Day - The Swensson Farm Museum: 1 pm - 5 pm Saturdays opens to the public on the Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend (Not open on Memorial Day Monday) - Labor Day Weekend (Not open on Labor Day Monday) Private tours are available by appointment only - The Lac qui Parle Mission: 8 am - 8 pm 7 days a week starting the last Sunday in April - Labor Day Weekend Private tours are available for the site

Historic Chippewa City - 151 Pioneer Drive, PO Box 303, Montevideo, MN 56265, (320)269-7636 - Late 1800s-style village including log cabins, millinery shop, blacksmith shop, boardwalk, and central gazebo - Historic buildings and artifacts - Swensson Farm Museum - from Montevideo, six miles east on Highway 7, five miles south on County Road 6, and 1/8 mile east on County Road 15; 17 acres, 22 - room farmhouse, barn, etc. - Lac qui Parle Mission - located at the corner of Chippewa County Highway 13 and County Rd 32, off U.S. Highway 59, eight miles northwest of Montevideo - early 1800's Mission
