Open to all pet owners who are experiencing homelessness

Hours

7 am - 1 pm Monday - Friday CST

Interpretation services

Interpreters available upon request; Spanish

Application process

Call to speak with a case manager. Calls are not taken after hours or on weekends. Leave a message, and a case manager will return the call the next business day. The case manager will conduct an initial interview to pre-determine eligibility. All pet examinations and/or treatment must be pre-approved by a case manager.

Description

Provides financial assistance for pet owners experiencing homelessness. Case managers will conduct an interview to determine if individuals qualify for pre-approved emergency veterinary care. If eligible, the case manager will approve an exam and help the individual make an appointment for their pet at a local hospital or clinic.
