  • Office: 9 am - 5 pm Monday - Friday- Services: 10 am - 12 noon Monday - Wednesday and Friday

No fee to be involved with the organization, although voting membership requires dues of $10/year. Donations accepted.

Provides the following services:- Self-Advocates Minnesota (SAM): A statewide network to help people with developmental disabilities know their rights and demand those rights through personal and group action. There are six SAM regions; contact information for each region can be found online.- Self-advocacy training materials for self-advocates, professionals, schools and the general public- Remembering with Dignity: Organizes to replace numbered grave markers at state institutions with proper headstones, and remember people buried there with dignity and respect.- Provides networking opportunities to connect with others promoting self-advocacy for people with developmental and other disabilities.- Public policy and legislative activities
