Inpatient acute rehabilitation for patients needing the following: - 24 hour physician availability - 24 hour rehabilitation nursing - An intensive level of therapy including a minimum of Physical and Occupational Therapy services 3 hours per day 5 days per week - Interdisciplinary approach - Sufficient mental alertness to participate in the program - Significant practical involvement expected in a reasonable period of time - An identified discharge placement A community re-entry environment, EZ Street, is available in the Acute Rehab Unit used to help patients rehabilitate in a setting similar to what they will experience once they leave the hospital.
