Open to families who are low-income; families are selected based on the following criteria: - Need for adequate housing - Ability to pay (houses are sold at appraised value) - Willingness to partner (sweat equity requirement of 200 hours per adult family member)
Application/registration form copy of most recent pay stub or income payment copies of the latest W2s for all family members with income copy of latest federal income tax return (1040 only) copy of latest state income tax return (form M1 only) proof of household income Social Security card/number utility bills verification of SSI, County Assistance, Child Support or any other unearned income

Closing fees of approximately $2200 (first year homeowner's insurance premium, recording fees, and mortgage tax)

Application Process
?Builds homes with assistance from volunteers and partner families. Completed homes are then sold to partner families with a mortgage that does not exceed 30% of the gross household income. Families' monthly payment for subsidized interest rate mortgage, real estate taxes, and homeowner insurance is below 30% of the gross household income.
