Description
Offers support group meetings to individuals affected by prostate cancer. Members can share their experiences, feelings, worries, and concerns. The support groups are available to patients, partners, and caregivers. Support group meetings are located in several cities in Minnesota such as Cloquet, Minneapolis, Robbinsdale, Saint Cloud, Saint Paul, and Rochester. Support group meetings may help with: - Gaining a sense of empowerment, feeling less lonely, or isolated - Getting practical feedback about treatment options - Learning about resources for education, financial assistance programs, and other resources - Reducing distress, depression, anxiety, or fatigue - Talk openly and honestly about feelings - Understanding prostate cancer treatment and side effects
