Description

Provides licensing services for adult foster care, child foster care, and day care, including: - Conducting background studies - Inspecting homes - Providing training, consultation, and guidance Adult Foster Care is a licensed, home-like setting for adults who are unable to live independently. Placements may be short-term, long-term, or for respite care. Child Foster Care is a licensed, home-like setting for children who are unable to live with their families due to various circumstances. Placements may be emergency, temporary, long-term, or for respite care, with the goal of eventual family reunification.
