Open to all persons either court ordered for citation forgiveness or for persons wanting more information on traffic and vehicle safety
Required documents
Application, this course requires a special certificate so will need to inform the person taking the registration that peson taking the course has a citation or are court ordered to take a defensive driving course so the appropriate certificate is issued

Provides an eight-hour awareness-level course for those court-ordered, in citation forgiveness, or in a diversion program. Courses are offered throughout Minnesota. This program is a Minnesota Department of Public Safety-approved defensive driver/accident prevention course, covering:- Changes in laws- Crash data trends- Current traffic safety information- Defensive-driving tips- Vehicle technology
