- Base fare: $2; rush hour (6 am - 9 am and 3 pm - 6:30 pm weekdays) $2.50; express fare .75 extra during rush hour. Express fare .50 extra during non-rush hours. - Reduced fare, $1, to senior citizens weekdays during NON-rush hours, all day Saturday, Sunday, and holidays. ID required with this fare - driver's license or Minnesota ID with a "T" endorsement, Medicare card, or railroad retirement card. - Reduced fare, $1, for youth ages 6 - 12 available weekdays during NON-rush hours, all day Saturday, Sunday, and holidays. - Children ages 5 and under ride free when accompanied by one paid adult fare (limit 3 per adult). Youth 13 - 17 may qualify for a reduced fare card through schools and employers. - Reduced fare, $1, for persons with disabilities (those unable to qualify for a Minnesota driver's license because of physical or mental disability) all day, every day, including weekends and holidays. Certified identification is required - Medicare card (valid during non-rush hours only), Metro Mobility card, Metro Transit temporary ID card, or Minnesota driver's license/state ID with an "L" or "A" endorsement. For information on eligibility, certification, or registration, call 612-373-3333. - Free Transit Program for Disabled Veterans: Provides free rides on any fixed route service in Minnesota. Disabled veterans with a service connected disability must show a Veterans Identification Card (VIC) issued by a VA Medical Center with the words "Service Connected" or the initials "SC" below the photo. These cards are available at the VA Medical Centers in Minneapolis or St. Cloud.
