Eligibility

Residents of Pennington County and Red Lake County who are breastfeeding, pregnant, and post-partum women with children age birth - 5 and meet WIC income guidelines or one of the following requirements: - Be enrolled in another program such as Medical Assistance or SNAP - Nutrition and/or medical need

Provides nutrition education and special foods that promote good health. WIC provides the following services: - Assistance with any special needs - Health assessment and screening - Nutrition education - Referral to other community services ???Vouchers are given to participants to purchase nutritious foods such as cereal, cheese, eggs, infant formula, fruits and vegetables, milk, and peanut butter
