Offers services and equipment for customers with disabilities including:- CenturyLink's Special Needs Center also offers special discounts and pricing exemptions for qualifying customers, and advice on how to adapt CenturyLink products and services to meet special needs- Discounts for long distance calls made on TTY machines- Equipment options include special ringing/volume control options for certified disabled- Exemptions from directory assistance charges to customers with certified motion, sight, or mental limitations- Explaining available CenturyLink products and services- Explaining options for funding equipment purchases- Helping customers set up or change their telephone service- Intervention for TTY callers between CenturyLink and customer to resolve billing or other problems- Telling customers how to lease or purchase special equipment to meet their needs including hearing aid compatible cell phones
