Owner-Occupied Deferred Home Repair Loans- Partners with the Minnesota Small Cities Development Program (SCDP) to provide deferred home-repair loans to eligible moderate-income homeowners within participating cities- Deferred loans do not need to be repaid unless the homeowner sells, transfers the property, or moves out within 10 years.- Helps households improve the safety, livability, and energy efficiency of their homes through needed repairs and rehabilitationRental Rehabilitation Deferred Loan (RRDL) Program- Provides zero-interest, deferred loans (typically available up to $300,000 per project) to improve aging rental properties and preserve affordable housing- Eligible borrowers include individuals, developers, nonprofits, tribal housing organizations, and units of local government- Borrowers must meet basic credit-worthiness and program screening requirements- Properties and proposed improvements must meet state eligibility guidelines and support long-term housing qualityEligible Improvements include:- Boiler, furnace, and mechanical system upgrades- Energy-efficiency and water-conservation improvements- Health, safety, and structural repairs that preserve the building's basic livability and function- Roof replacement
