Description
Responds to public health nuisance complaints and works with other county departments in resolving ordinance violations. Services include: - Provides protection of ground water. Permit and inspect new well construction, sealing of abandoned wells, and the installation of Subsurface Sewage Treatment Systems (SSTS). - Provides certified water sampling for anyone within the service area - Local Government AgBMP Loan Program helps farmers, agriculture supply business, landowners identify problems, and find solutions to water quality issues faced by rural Minnesota including Septic systems
