Environmental Services - Lincoln County Environmental Office

Responsible for the following services:- Administers low-interest loan programs available to residents for septic system upgrades- Develops zoning ordinances and the County Comprehensive Land Use Plan- Education, organization, and implementation of the countywide recycling program and pickup- Enforcement of state and county noxious weed laws- Implementation of the Individual Septic Treatment System (ISTS) program and enforcement of the Solid Waste Plan and Ordinance- Management of biocontrol areas for noxious weeds (e.g., leafy spurge, musk thistle)- Operation of the county landfill transfer station- Operation, maintenance, and repair of public drainage systems- Regulation of certified seed dealers, including periodic inspections and sampling
