New cases are initiated after receiving information developed through relationships with public agencies, businesses, and residentsInvestigators initiate cases and assist the Patrol Unit with incidents that require additional investigationAfter the investigation is completed, the cases are then presented to the Goodhue County Attorney's Office for prosecution
