Distribution hours 2:30 pm - 5:30 pm Thursday (when a holiday falls on a Thursday the pantry will be open from 2:30 pm - 5:30 pm on the Wednesday before)

Walk-in during distribution hours. People may also call if they are experiencing a food emergency outside of distribution hours to make arrangements for a food package.

Description

Houston Community Food Shelf is a food pantry offering food for individuals and families in need. Packages of non-perishable food (10 pounds for 1 or 2 people and 15 pounds for 3 or more people) along with bread, dairy products, and produce (including organic produce) are available. Laundry detergent is provided on the 4th Thursday of the month.
