Description

Conciliation Court: Small claims court where citizens bring civil actions against another person or company. Cases may be filed at the Conciliation Court, 300 South 6th Street, 3rd Floor, Court Tower, Hennepin County Government Center. - Phone: (612)348-6000 Civil Filing Department: Maintains all Civil Court files and provides public access to them. Staff are available at the customer service counters on the 3rd floor of the Court Tower. - Phone: (612)348-3170 Housing Court: Handles eviction actions, escrow, landlord/tenant issues, and building code violations. - Phone: (612)348-5186 ext. 5 Probate: Processes estates, guardianships, and conservatorships for minor children, incapacitated, or incompetent adults. - Phone: (612)348-3244 Mental Health Division: Oversees commitments for persons with mental illness, developmental disabilities, chemical dependency, or psychopathic personality, as well as referrals from criminal court. - Phone: (612)348-6868 - Located on the 4th and 5th floors of the Court Tower.
