Advise and assist all county veterans and their dependents with state and federal benefits including:- Chemical dependency treatment- Death and burial benefits?- Dental and optical assistance via the MN Department of Veterans Affairs- Discharge review and upgrade assistance- Emergency Financial assistance upon approval of the Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs- GI Bill education and training, on-the-job training- GI life insurance- Home loan guaranteed by the USDVA- Non-service-connected disability pension- Outpatient medical care- Service connected disability compensation- Survivors and dependents education assistance- Vocational rehabilitation for service connected veterans
