Advise and assist all county veterans and their dependents with state and federal benefits including: - Chemical dependency treatment - Death and burial benefits ?- Dental and optical assistance via the MN Department of Veterans Affairs - Discharge review and upgrade assistance - Emergency Financial assistance upon approval of the Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs - GI Bill education and training, on-the-job training - GI life insurance - Home loan guaranteed by the USDVA - Non-service-connected disability pension - Outpatient medical care - Service connected disability compensation - Survivors and dependents education assistance - Vocational rehabilitation for service connected veterans
