Association includes the following:- Conduct regional conferences each fall throughout the state on social issues- Furnish information on pending human services bills and support sound social legislation- Provide a statewide forum for the presentation and discussion of issues in the human service field- Publishes a quarterly newsletter for membership on legislative issues and programming updates. The newsletter also spotlights members and highlights upcoming events- Serve as a channel for local and state planning interests on matters of human services- Sponsor annual MSSA conference- Sponsor training events in one day forums on variety of human service issuesNOTE: Does not provide direct services and is not a referral service
