Application process

  • Call; email; visit webiste; if an animal is in immediate danger, call 911 or local law enforcement- Information to include in making a report:- Reporting individual's name (optional if anonymity is desired)- Indication if the reporter wishes to remain anonymous- Phone number/email for follow-up questions- Address/location of suspected animal abuse- Description of the animal(s) involved- Name and contact info of the alleged violator (if known)- Brief description of the abuse, including dates/times if possible- Photo or video evidence, if available

  • Investigates reports of cruelty to animals in Minnesota- Trains, certifies, and appoints State Humane Agents- Consists of MFHS member humane organizations in MinnesotaDoes not operate an animal shelter and does not have animals available for adoption.
