Provides assistance and support to veterans and their dependents in obtaining benefits through state and federal programs including:- Burial benefits- Financial assistance through the Veteran's Affairs (VA) for dental work- GI Bill Education training- GI life insurance- Home loan guaranteed by the United States Department of Veterans Affairs (USDVA)- Information and referral to other service providers for substance use treatment and vocational rehabilitation- Outpatient medical care through the Veteran's Affairs (VA)- Service-connected disability compensation- State Soldiers Assistance Program (SSAP): Program that provides Veterans who are unable to work as a result of temporary disability with cash assistance toward housing (rent, mortgage, or utilities) or other personal needs- Survivor's and dependents education- Transportation to Veteran's Affairs (VA) Medical Center- Veteran/military health insurance- Veteran survivor insurance
