Older adults ages 55 years and older living in a home setting who are residents of Dodge, Olmsted, Wabasha, and Winona counties

Hours

Olmsted, Wabasha, and Winona: 9 am - 3 pm Monday - Thursday 9 am - 1 pm Friday Dodge: 9 am - 3 pm Monday - Thursday 9 am - 1 pm Friday by appointment Office staff available to assist Dodge County clients during these hours. There is no physical office in Dodge County

Monthly fees with 2-3 hours of service for Caregiver Respite-on weekly, bi-monthly, or monthly basis; Hourly fees with caregiver coaching/family meetings; donations accepted; sliding fee scale based on income

Description

Support for individuals who give continuous care to older adults living at home by providing a temporary break for caregivers. Respite Care Volunteers assist with non-medical support and companionship to care receivers. This allows the caregiver time to: - Attend a support group - Grocery shop - Relax - Run needed errands - Take a break from the duties of caregiving Provides caregivers with: - Caregiver coaching one-on-one - Caregiver respite - Consultation - Family meetings - Resources
