Eligibility

Adults age 18 and older who are homeless and residing in or are receiving county support from Carlton, Chisago, Isanti, Kanabec, Mille Lacs or Pine County - Must not have violent crimes(past 2 years), sex offenses, weapons offenses, or arson on record - Must be willing to maintain sobriety from alcohol and drugs, including marijuana

Required documents

Identification Every resident must pass a background check prior to admittance

Hours

- Advocates available: 8 am - 5 pm Monday - Friday - Access to shelter: 8 am - 10 pm 7 days a week - Services: 24 hours/7 days a week

Description

Emergency shelter offering short-term housing for homeless adults with no other safe options for the night. Connects those experiencing homelessness to programs that can assist with permanent housing. A Place for You is a Naloxone Access Point and will provide Naloxone and Fentanyl test strips - no questions asked.
