Description
Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) is a nutrition program that assists pregnant women, new mothers, infants, and young children to eat well, learn about nutrition, and stay healthy. Many working and low-income families are eligible for WIC's benefits. The WIC Program provides: - Breastfeeding advice and support - Nutrition assessment and feeding tips - Referrals to health and social services - Vouchers for healthy foods (for example, milk, fresh fruit, vegetables, and eggs)
