Program is voluntary and focuses on prevention and the family's strengths and needs. Provide short-term support to families in their efforts to provide healthy, nurturing homes free of abuse and neglect with the following:- Help families build connections with relatives, friends, and community members- Help families access funds to meet their needs, such as- Access to School Supplies- Car Repairs- Clothing and Grocery Referrals- County Benefits such as Cash, Food and Child-Care Costs- Utility and Rental Assistance- Help families access therapeutic services such as:- Chemical Dependency Treatment- Family Counseling- Outpatient Counseling- Waiver and Case Management Services- Help families access time-limited parenting education and support services for parents struggling with children's behavioral issues- Help to find housing and transportation- Help access educational planning and career development services- Help with locating daycare- Help with connecting to local support groups
