Eligibility

Families with children experiencing homelessness in Ramsey County

Required documents

Application/registration form birth certificate drivers license picture ID proof of household income referral form social security card/number Depending on unit availability, may require documented disability and/or verification of long-term homelessness. Must provide proof of identity and income to property manager and Metropolitan Housing and Redevelopment Authority (Metro HRA) to qualify for project based Section 8 assistance.

Call United Way 211 for information on accessing the Ramsey County Coordinated Access to Housing and Shelter (CAHS). The service is available 24 hours/7 days a week by dialing 211 or (651)291-0211.

Transitional and permanent supportive housing for homeless families with children. Services include: - Case management and advocacy - Job readiness, placement and retention services - Life skills training (budgeting, parenting, etc.) - Tutoring for children and adult students
