Health Insurance Marketplace Qualified Health Plans - MNsure - Minnesota Health Insurance Marketplace

Eligibility

Any consumer may use MNsure to shop for health insurance. Minnesota individuals and families not covered by an affordable employee health plan may qualify for assistance.

  • Contact center: 8 am - 4 pm Monday - Friday - The website account and application functions are available 6 am - 12 midnight 7 days a week. The public information pages are up 24 hours/7 days a week. - Open enrollment period runs November 1, through January 15
some consumers may enroll at any time if they qualify with MA of MinnesotaCare or have a qualifying life event. - Coverage start dates will vary depending on when individuals enroll.

  • Minnesotans will be able to use the website to search and compare health insurance plans, and learn where to sign up. The MNSure application will screen for assistance and tax credit eligibility.- Plans in the Exchange will include low-cost and free plans. An online calculator will help searchers to know if they qualify for these plans, or for subsidies or tax credits.- Available health plans will vary for individuals and for small businesses, and by county of residence. Plans will be available through Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota, HealthPartners, Medica, Medical Assistance, and UCare.
