Residents of Aitkin, Carlton, Cook, Itasca, Koochiching, Lake, and Saint Louis counties, ages 18 and older who qualify for Unemployment Insurance (UI) benefits, and have worked six of the last 36 months

Description

Helps workers who lost their jobs through no fault of their own find a new career. Staff work with the unemployed worker to re-enter the workforce in a stable job within a high-demand occupation. Services offered include career and skills assessments and personalized job search assistance. If an individual is considering training, they may receive help with tuition, other training-related expenses, and support services.
