Application process

There are three options for reporting abuse or neglect of a child:- Phone: Call and press 1 to make an oral report- Print: Visit website and print off the report form. Complete the form and fax it to 612-466-9581.- Visit website: Complete and submit an on-line reporting form- Emergencies: Call 911

?Provides investigative and intervention services for child abuse, neglect, and/or abandonment. Services include:- Accepting reports of abuse- Assessment of the initial referral- Consultation with individuals who suspect abuse- Consultation with the family to determine the nature of the problem- Consultation with mandated reporters- Dependency investigation- Explanation of reporting statutes and answer questions regarding agency practices- Ongoing support services for children and their families- Temporary placement of children who are removed from the home- Works with the family toward unification or reunification
