Homeless and Rental Housing Emergencies - West Central Minnesota Communities Action

Eligibility

Individuals must demonstrate homelessness or be on the verge of homelessness and are residents of Douglas, Grant, Pope, Stevens, and Traverse counties

Required documents

Application proof of household income proof of emergency, including eviction, late rent notice, referral, or other proof of emergency documentation

Hours

  • 8 am - 4:30 pm Monday - Friday- If there is an after-hours housing emergency, please listen to the voicemail for the after-hours on-call number

Assists with:- Motel rooms or other emergency accommodations- Providing a homeless coordinated entry assessment - Rent payment in cases of eviction prevention or to secure housing and funding resources when households are facing homelessness through the Family Assistance Prevention and Assistance Program - FHPAP- Rental deposit for those who are homeless or near eviction- Utility deposits for homeless households
