Eligibility

At-risk families who are residents of Dodge, Steele and Waseca counties with a child under 10 years of age identified through screened out child maltreatment reports, community referrals or self-referrals; families currently active with Child Protection Services do not qualify

Once enrolled in the Parent Support Outreach Program help is provided to at-risk families to avoid future incidents of child maltreatment and to enhance child and family well-being, including:- Comprehensive assessments, early intervention, outreach, and supportive and therapeutic services- Connecting families with county and community-based services- Limited financial assistance for families to meet basic needs
