- Comfort cart (hand out items like magazines, earbuds, lip balm and eye masks) - Department specific help (Cancer Center, endoscopy, Joint Trails Unit and radiation therapy) - Escorting patients or concierge - Gift shop - Help desk (greet guests and answer questions) - Mailings and special office projects - Patient advocate (ask what patients need to make their stay more comfortable) - Piano playing - Popping popcorn in cafeteria - Quilt making, book bag assembly - Saint Joseph's Medical Center Auxiliary fundraising for special projects that improve patient care and comfort, and provide scholarships to nursing students
