Provides city services including: - Animal Control - Beer/liquor licenses - Charitable gambling permits - City attorney - City clerk - Election information - Mayor and city council: Member contact information - Planning and zoning: Provides professional assistance in creating and administering city policies, plans, and regulations with community stakeholders to enhance livability and sustainability. - Public Utilities Department: Includes drinking water treatment and distribution, wastewater conveyance and treatment, biofuel utilization, stormwater collection and treatment, nutrient recovery, and hydroelectric energy production. - Public Works Department: Is to provide for the effective and efficient operation, and maintenance of the city's infrastructure. The Public Works Department is organized into several divisions. These divisions work together to coordinate services and to achieve the following objectives: - To clean, repair, clear snow and ice from, and maintain the municipal street, alley, and sidewalk systems - To provide convenient, well-maintained parking facilities in the downtown area - To provide quality maintenance and repair to prolong the life of city equipment - To provide quality municipal refuse and recycling collection services - To provide and properly manage a yard waste compost site - The City of Saint Cloud provides billing for water, sewer, refuse (recycling and garbage), storm water run-off, and street light utilities.
