Eligibility

Patients must meet the following criteria: - Be able to take care of their own personal living needs or be accompanied by an adult who can assist them - Be 18 years or older (support person must also be 18 years or older) - Be free of any communicable diseases and determined as non-infectious by their treating physician - Travel a minimum of 40 miles to receive treatment in Rochester - Undergo active outpatient cancer treatment or therapy at least three times per week.

Housing consisting of 60 private guest rooms and bathrooms for adult cancer patients receiving chemotherapy or radiation treatment and their family members/caregivers. Minimum stay of 3 nights. One room per family, accommodating up to 2 adults. Living space services include: - 8 full kitchens equipped with dishes, small appliances, utensils, and facilities for food storage and preparation - Computer lab with internet access and printer - Fax and copy machines - Laundry rooms stocked with supplies - Linens and towels - Meals frequently cooked/provided by volunteers - Wireless computer access on the main level Supportive services include: - Brain tumor support group - Breast cancer support group- Caregivers Conversations support group - Look Good, Feel Better.
