MinnesotaCare is the state's health care program (Medicaid) for income eligible children and parents, people with disabilities, adults without children, and older adults. An intake worker will determine which sub-program gives the applicant the best coverage. Medicaid covered services may include doctor and dental visits, hospital care, prescriptions and immunizations, eye exams and eye glasses, chiropractic care, family planning, hearing aids, mental health services, and medical equipment and supplies. All MinnesotaCare enrollees are in health plans (not fee-for-service providers).
