Bridges Rental Assistance Program - Brainerd Housing and Redevelopment Authority

Open to all households who meet the priority population requirements including:- People living in an institution or other segregated setting who will be homeless when discharged- People experiencing homelessness who need Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH)- People who are experiencing homelessness or at imminent risk of homelessnessHouseholds who meet the requirements listed above should also meet these eligibility requirements:- The head of household or other household member must be 18 years of age or over and have a diagnosed mental illness- The household is eligible to receive a Housing Choice Voucher or can become eligible based on successful participation in the Bridges Program- The household's gross income at the time of initial eligibility is at or below 50% of the AMI for the household size- Serves residents of Aitkin, Cass, Crow Wing, Morrison, Todd, and Wadena counties; Leech Lake and Mille Lacs Band of Tribal Nations
